My name is Inna and I am a Ukrainian student in Düsseldorf since about a year. I actually came to Germany two years ago on an au-pair program and then decided to stay and was lucky enough to get accepted to a German University.
It took me a while to get used to Germany and its people. I am OK now, but I still find it so hard to date German guys…. They are too shy to ask you out and when they do, they never spoil you with flowers or other small gifts and the worst of all is that if you dine out, you have to pay for yourself 😐 I don’t understand the tradition of going Dutch here… This is just not me…
