My name is Andrey and i am originally from Moscow (Russian Federation). I only moved to Berlin over a year ago due to my new job in automative industry. I studied English and German at school, that helped initially 😉

Berlin is a very green city, you feel it the moment you step your foot here. Every time my friends or parents visit me in Berlin, they joke that Berlin air is fresher than in a small village outside Moscow. And it is true! I also never complained about Moscow transport system (metro, trams, buses etc)…well until I got here 😉 I travel everywhere during all seasons by bike. What more can you ask for from a big city?!

The only thing that bothers me in Germany is the lack of being spontaneous… if you ask a colleague or a friend to get together let’s say this Friday after work. The answer will most likely be: “How about the Friday in three weeks at 20.30 at X bar?”
