I come from Turkey and have been here for 12 years. However, I worked for eight years in Moscow…you know as an electrician. Sometimes I still do it for a change even in Germany. I have also been to St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov, Sochi, Arkhangelsk – there it was very cold – and Siberia. Siberia is Russia’s Las Vegas, by the way. I have also worked in Ukraine – in Lviv, Kiev and Donetsk and also in Belarus – in Minsk and Brest.

I like Russia more than Germany I must admit. Russian culture is not so different from the Turkish one. We are very hospitable people. Our doors are always open for friends and neighbors – we love to host them. In Russia it is exactly the same. Over here the life is different. German people are rather cold.
