Life has somehow always taken me to Germany. I started to learn German in the school and during the high school years I was an exchange student. At that time it wasn’t very common in Estonia. I feel at home in Germany. I understand the system. I have friends over here. And I enjoy buying books once I visit. I like the German language and literature. Hermann Hesse was a genius! In a way he has captured the essence of life.

I moved to Brussels recently. It is very chaotic in Belgium compared to Germany. Over here everything is organized, regulated and people follow the rules. I’m not saying it’s a good thing, but it makes functioning much easier, because you can predict things. Yes, it makes life easier. I’ve never had a culture shock in Germany – it kind of suites the Estonian mind.
