It was always fun to make music, I never really though from the start: “I am going to be a professional musician”. It’s just that I started playing in all kinds of bands and before I knew it I was playing every night of the week. It just seemed so obvious: of course, I am a musician, that’s what I do. And I never thought: “Is this a smart way of making living or not? Wouldn’t be better to be a doctor or a mailman or something?” I don’t know. I never consciously decided that this was going to be my career, it just sort of happened right from the start…
